Q: Why do I need a tiny home?

A: You will benefit from owning a tiny home in the following ways.
(1) Additional housing. A tiny could be used for an extra room for a growing family, housing for relatives or university students, home office or studio, hobbies room, games or pool room, short-term holiday accommodation, study room for a high schooler, nanny or au pair quarters. This includes residential and farm blocks.
(2) Tiny homes are less expensive and affordable. Given that you do not need many materials to build and renovate a tiny home, it means that you do not have to spend a lot. his means that you can save more and attain your financial goals easily.
(3) Temporary accommodation during construction of a new house (and once the main house is complete you have a guesthouse for extra space or it can be relocated to another site).
(4) To achieve sustainability and have less of an impact on the environment.
(5) Accommodation on a rural block that has no building entitlement but allows for a caravan.
(6) Holiday accommodation at a caravan park, similar to that of a cabin. It is essentially a caravan with an optional annexe.
(7) Holiday accommodation by registering with ‘Airbnb’
(8) Temporary accommodation on an agricultural site.
(9) Possibilities of being mortgage free.

Q: How do I start the process?
A: Our products can be ordered on our website in the “Shop” section, or you can contact us by email tinylivingconcept@gmail.com or info@tinylivingconcept.com to help you decide on your options and final pricing. A purchase agreement will be sent to you via email. You will sign and send back a copy.
We will stay in contact with you during the build process and give you sufficient notice of the scheduled dates, including your order or start date and actual delivery date.

Q: Do you deliver?
A: We offer a delivery service USA-wide and Canada through our third party shipping partners. Once the delivery arrangements are finalized, you will be provided with the tracking information to use in following the process of the shipping until your product is finally delivered. It will take between 1 and 5 business days to deliver depending on your location. One should budget at least $3.00 per mile.

Q: Are your tiny homes and container homes permitted?
A: No. Due to the high cost and lengthy time frames associated with permitted tiny and container homes, we are only offering non-permitted builds and on-wheels type builds at this time. We work with a third-party certification agency to certify our builds.

Q: What is Mini-Split heating & cooling?
A:  Mini-splits are super energy efficient ductless heating and cooling systems that allow you to control the temperatures in individual rooms or spaces for greater comfort. We use the latest “Inverter” mini split systems which can operate in very cold and extremely warm outside temperatures and are whisper quiet.

Q: Can additional insulation be added?
A: Yes. We can install additional insulation for an added cost if the home will be located in a cold climate.

Q: Do you offer a warranty?
A: We provide a 5 year warranty against defects in our workmanship. Any manufacturer warranties on new components or appliances may also be available.

Q: Are tiny homes insurable?
A: You can insure your tiny home just as you would a caravan or car.

Q: How do I prepare the site?
A: While your pool is being created, you will need to finalize the position of your pool. You can determine this by using our specifications or alternatively by engaging with your local builder.
If you have a sloping property, you’ll need to engage a surveyor and engineer to build your support structure. As each build is different, we do recommend you reach out to multiple professionals and review the quotes in your local area.
Ensure your site is ready to receive the pool on your delivery day.

When your Tiny Home arrives your builder will have organized some
way to unload the home and lift it to its final location. In most cases, this means a
mobile crane with sufficient capacity to cover the distance from the truck and to
clear any obstacles like power lines or trees.
This is not as hard as it sounds. Every crane company will visit your location ahead
of time and ensure the correct crane for the job is supplied.
As you plan your lift, keep a few things in mind:
* Through the lift make, we sure the Tiny Home does not impact any fixed objects such as
trees, buildings or structures. We take care to lift the pool slowly and
deliberately, and ultimately place it carefully in its final location.
NOTE: Tiny homes does not recommend placement on a crushed rock base, doing so will void your warranty.

Q: I want some changes in my Tiny home, can I customize or provide a plan for my own Tiny home?
A: Yes! All our tiny homes can be custom made to suit your needs. If you have design ideas or other custom feature ideas, feel free to contact us with them, and we will prepare a quote to include them in your build.

Q: I don’t want my Tiny Home now, can I lock in a date for delivery?
A: You can pay a non-refundable booking fee and secure a placeholder position, which allows you to have your Tiny Home delivered as soon as you are ready.
